But if you prefer more performance by increasing handling and steering control then you'll want to upgrade to KYB Gas-a-Just monotube shock or a KYB MonoMax monotube shock. If you want the ability to tune your shocks to match different driving preferences, you want KYB AGX manually adjustable shocks, struts, and cartridges.

First of all, I'm not a mechanic, but I do my fair share of maintenance on my own car, so this review is purely from my own experiences. Also, I listed the different years for the title only because those cars are what KYB's catalog says the struts (KYB 334151 and 334150) fit. After reading reviews with many people saying that the boot (KYB SB104) did not fit the struts (KYB 334151 and 334150) for my car (1999 Nissan Maxima GLE), I was really hesitant about making the purchase. I even went so far as to directly e-mail KYB informing of the reviews and asking for their confirmation that the boot did indeed fit the strut. Here's how the conversation went:To Whom it May Concern,I'm looking to purchase some KYB GR-2/Excel G's off of AutoPartsWAY (Manufacturer #: 334151 - Front Left Strut) and the SB104 Boot (the one that KYB suggests for the strut), but after reading reviews, many people have stated that the SB104 Boot doesn't fit on the 334151 strut. This boot is a bit big and might rub against the inside of the spring. Mine are rubbing slightly with my Swift springs.

I bought this boot to replace the OEM boot and shocks on my 2007 Aveo sedan. I was already replacing the stock springs with H&R sport lowering springs so I bought the 343423 KYB GR-2 shocks to improve the ride and the boots to match. OR SO I THOUGHT! I contacted KYB to ensure compatibility before I purchased and the customer service rep confirmed. However, when I received the boot, the bump stop that the boot came wouldn't work unless I was willing to cut it and the quality of the boot itself didn't impress me, either. The bump stop covered ALL the threads I needed to attached the shock mount!! and the same happened when I replaced the front struts too! luckily the OEM boot was still reusable! I rated the SB107 three stars because it seemed like if I was willing to modify the the bump stop and WASN'T lowering my car it might have worked out.

I ordered these just in case I needed them when I did a strut replacement on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS. It turns out I did not need them but I installed them anyway. I'm glad I did, and would order them again.

Two piece design. The bump stop slips into a groove in the bellow. This is a great price for 11 bucks. I used these for the rear of my 240sx s13. Must have item when replacing old shocks. You need to order 2, they are sold individually.

Seems to work fine. Comes as 2 parts, you have to put them together.
