    Ordered a pair of these. Upon installation, the chrome on one flaked off. Returned, and will try another, hopefully the quality will be better...

    I ordered this air cleaner believing it would fit my carburetor. It did, but unfortunately it was the incorrect orientation to fit my car (many K & Ns are available in 2 versions - 1 oriented 90 degrees to the other). Since AutoPartsWAY doesn't include a view of the air cleaner base to help you decide which air cleaner to buy, I simply guessed. I guessed wrong.I contacted the company (via AutoPartsWAY) to arrange an exchange for the correct version, and they informed me they would be charging me a 25% restocking fee! I can understand charging a fee to people who buy and return items with little thought, but I explained that I wanted an exchange. They still charged me $20! I checked the link for the item, and I found no warning about this unreasonable return fee. I returned the item (at my cost) and ordered the correct one, and it fits and looks fine. I just think AutoPartsWAY should warn buyers when a vendor has a return policy like this one.
